The Gospel in Argentina
Brother Venegas preaches the gospel of the Lord which meets in Mendoza, Argentina. Apart from gospel meetings that he conducts with other churches in Argentina and Chile, Bro. Venegas works exclusively with the congregation in Mendoza. The average Sunday attendance is between 50 and 60, and 23 for mid-week Bible study. There are always visitors for both services. Every Saturday there is a class for men, women, or young people. These studies are conducted in the homes of various Christians. During the past year, there were 11 baptisms in Mendoza. Their main challenge is obtaining home Bible studies. They have conducted as many as 22 a week. At this time there are 8 classes in progress. They continue to study with their new converts who make contacts with others to be taught the gospel. The Kettering congregation has been supporting Bro. Venegas in Argentina for over 10 years.

The Gospel in Colombia
Brother Jamie Restrepo preaches the gospel of the Lord in the country of Colombia, South America. He primarily preaches in Manizales, but he travels extensively throughout Colombia preaching God's word. He also goes to neighboring countries in South America and has been instrumental in establishing many new congregations in the Lord. He has translated many English Bible study materials into Spanish. He conducts a Monday to Friday radio program, "30 Minutes at the Bilbel Light," which is broadcast throughout the entire state of Caldar. The Kettering congregation has been supporting Bro. Jamie in Colombia for over 15 years.

The Gospel in India
Brother Barnabas preaches the gospel in Andhra Pradesh, India. He lives in the Khammam District in a small village called Rajeswarapuram. The village is so small that there is only one general phone at the Post Office. Bro. Barnabas lives a simple life with no TV or phone and without many of today's modern conveniences. We receive monthly reports from Bro. Barnabas regarding his preaching of the gospel in various villages through the district. The Kettering congregation has been supporting this work in India for over 10 years.

The Gospel in the Philippines
Brother Guillermo preaches the gospel of the Lord's church in the town of Lallo, providence of Cagayan, the Republic of the Philippines. Bro. Guillermo has preached at the St. Teresa congregation for three years. He assists preaching the gospel for the Palagao church where his father is a regular preacher. He has preached lessons on such subjects as the government, the family, and the church. He also assists visiting evangelists from the States as an interpreter. He is very active in preaching the gospel, including a prison church (Tuao town jail). He is married and has one daughter who is four years old. The Kettering congregation has been supporting his work for over 7 years.

Brother Romeo Agulto preaches the gospel of the Lord for three congregations in Pampanga, the Republic of the Philippines. Those congregations include Betis, San Roque, and Jalong Porac. He often travels to congregations in Tondo, Manila, and Quezon City to hold Bible studies. Bro. Agulto also travels with visiting preachers and helps with Bible studies and teaching the gospel. He hosts a radio program as a means to further spread the gospel. He is very active in preaching the gospel, both in private and in public, and from house to house. The Kettering congregation just started supporting his work in August 2004.

The Gospel in Ohio
Brother Randy Blackaby presently preaches for the New Carlisle Church of Christ. He has been there since July of 2002. Previously he preached for 14 years for the Courtland Avenue Church of Christ in Kokomo, Indiana, north of Indianapolis. Prior to going to Kokomo Randy was managing editor of the Xenia Daily Gazette where he worked for 17 years. During those years he preached by appointment for about 20 different congregations in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Beginning in 1994 he made five trips to Kaunas, Lithuania to preach in this former Soviet block country. Randy also has done radio programs including one in a talk format, a "Bible Answers" newspaper column, and op-ed pieces for various newspapers with a biblical perspective on current issues. He also writes occasionally for Truth Magazine and has completed a workbook on Galatians and is working on another on Moses for Truth Foundation. Randy and his wife, Karen, have four sons: Joshua, Josiah, Ezra and Amos. All but Amos are married.
