“Construction Update”
We've had quite a summer at Kettering Church of Christ. Throughout June and July we held our worship and Bible classes at a local elementary school. Now that school is starting this week, we are moving again. Our new temporary meeting place is at the Knollwood Church of Christ, 1031 Welford Dr., in Beavercreek.
The Kettering family has been blessed with growth over the last several years, so much that we outgrew our facility. Phase 1 of our expansion program should be finished by September 4. We have added additional seating in our auditorium, upgraded the look and feel of the facility, and modernized our technology. When enacted at a later date, Phase 2 will involve additional parking, another addition to the auditorium, and an extensive classroom wing expansion. We are excited to see the way God is blessing our congregational family.
We would love for you to visit with us. And, you don't have to wait till we move back "home" to do so. For the next two Sundays (August 21 and 28), we will be meeting at Knollwood Church of Christ at 12:30 PM. If you are coming from Dayton: Take US 35 E to the Fairfield Rd. Exit. Go straight off the exit ramp and the church building is just up the road in front of you. If you are coming from Beavercreek or Sugarcreek Township, take Fairfield Rd. to Seajay Dr. After you turn onto Seajay Dr., the church building will be just up the road in front of you. If you would like to visit with us during the week, our bible study is at 7:30 PM on Thursday evening at the same location. Our Thursday evening bible classes will take place on August 25 and September 1.
On September 4, we will be meeting in our regular facility at 4600 Bigger Rd., in Kettering. Once we return there, we will resume our normal schedule for bible classes and worship services.
