“We've Made Room for You”
Every Sunday at Kettering Church of Christ is special, but tomorrow will be especially good as we return to our worship facility located at 4600 Bigger Road in Kettering. For the past eleven weeks we have been meeting in temporary locations as we expanded and modernized our building. Over the last few years, our church family has been growing! We have room for you and would love to have you as our guest. Join us every Sunday at 9:30 am for Bible Classes, 10:30 am for worship, and 2 PM for afternoon worship.
We are very excited about our future and would love you to be a part of it. Here are some reasons why we are so optimistic about God’s work here:
We are committed to strong Bible teaching. We believe many people in our community are looking to be challenged by strong Bible teaching. Just as Paul urged, we are committed to “preaching the word,” 2 Timothy 4.2. We accomplish this with a balanced approach by preaching the truth “in love,” Ephesians 4.15 and “contending earnestly for the faith,” Jude 3. If you are looking for a place where God’s word is held up as the standard for life, we urge you to check out Kettering Church of Christ.
We are committed to great, enthusiastic Bible classes. Do you want your kids to develop a close relationship with Jesus and know more about God’s word? Our congregation has invested thousands of dollars in a comprehensive program that will help your child build a strong biblical foundation for life. Our Spiritual Heritage has been designed for children from eighteen months to 6th grade. Our highly trained teachers will take the time to help your child become familiar with the Bible story. Our teen classes challenge our young people to live lives of morality and help them with issues relevant for their time. And finally, our adult classes are enthusiastic and engaging.
We are committed to building a growing collection of online resources to assist you in your relationship with God. Online you can find a variety of resources including, Minute in the Word, our daily devotional you can receive each day in your inbox. We have a number of uplifting spiritual articles, and sermons you can download to your portable music player. Be sure you check out our website today!
You can find a place to belong. More important than an updated facility, great bible classes, and online resources is a place where you can belong. If you are struggling with life, we want you to know you are surrounded by people who truly care. We want Kettering Church of Christ to be a place of healing, love, and warmth. Most importantly, we want it to be a place of spiritual transformation. Our goal is to be more like Jesus, Luke 6.40.
