“God Has a Vision for You”
You shall serve the LORD your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you. None shall miscarry or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. I will send my terror before you and will throw into confusion all the people against whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you. I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you. Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land. And I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates, for I will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.

TODAY’S READING: Exodus 22-24
In today's reading, God communicated His wondrous vision to Israel. Keep in mind that as God shared these assurances with them, they were dwelling in tents inside a barren, desolate wilderness. In the midst of their present circumstances, what God promised may have seemed impossible. But not only would God make it come to pass, He promised to be with them every step and at every turn. Haven't we received the same assurances today? Through the death of Christ, we experience the warmth of God's spiritual blessings. We trust in the hand of God to protect and guide us as we go forward through the peaks and valleys of life. Don't let your present circumstances blind you from God's vision for you. Move forward in faith. Trust God every step of the way. You'll be glad you did. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, Ephesians 3.20.
